Don 1/99
There was a suppliers show where I used to work, and one of the suppliers
sells digital cameras. This was my free sample from them.
Everyone else had pens and paperclips!

I'm originally from Ohio, about 70 miles southwest of Cleveland. I went to College at Valparaiso University (Go Crusaders!) in Valparaiso, Indiana, where I studied Geography and met my future wife, Karen. Valparaiso is a Lutheran-affiliated school that has consistently been named by U.S. News & World Report as one of the best universities in the midwest in its annual rankings.

Karen and I married June 24, 1989. Our first son, Jacob, was born October 14, 1994, followed by two more boys, Ben on July 2, 1996, and Nick on February 12, 1998.

After college, I worked at the Michigan State Climatologist's Office, on the Michigan State University Campus for three years as a Research Assistant. I then worked for three years at the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory in Ann Arbor, Michigan as a Research Assistant through the Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research (CILER). I then worked for four years at Maritz Marketing Research, Inc. in (near) St Louis, Missouri. I was in the Virtual Customers Research Program, AKA the Mystery Shopping group. I currently work for Science Applications International, Corporation (SAIC). I am working on a contract at the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) in St. Louis, working with a group making electronic maps from paper ones.
