This list has not intentions to cover all vampire movies. Not even the good ones- since the opinion given here is mine I've
included only pictures I've seen. Director Fransis Ford Coppolla. The stars are numerous but the movie is a total nighmage and not in the good way. To tell you the truth, my opinion is that this movie sux. Pretty badly! I can't believe great actors like Gary Oldman and Anothony Hockins, not to mention the director, well, they made such an awful picture. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Whoever read the book knows that thought it's naive and childish sometimes it has unbeatable magic and having in mind the time, when its writen, well it a masterpiece. The movie took away all the innocense, the magic of the story and replaced it with vulgarity and characters that don't know what are fighting for! I could hardly wait the end! Rating: 2/10 because of Wynona Ryder, who was the one that came at least close to the idea of Mina Hacker.  Starring Wesley Snipce. It's a decent movie. The idea was cool, the actors were even cooler, nice action scenes and only Chris Christopherson was not on the right place in the right time. Big deal. The plot While pregnant, his mother is beaten by a vampire and as a result, our hero, W. S. this is, his born with the need for sweet warm human blood. Being a vampire for a while, a C. C. finds him and injects him with a segum that hides deep inside his hunger and replaces it with desire for killing vampires. So far so good, but a new race of vampires raise- humans turned into vampires that disobey every orders and traditions. It's up to Wesley and a nice doctor to stop them... Rating: 8/10- the blood was quite artiphicial...  Well, I don't quite know what to say... for a movies of the 80s it's OK. It's not the best, I believe a remake will be nice but anyway it's not so bad. The plot A young popular student, Buffy, cheerleader and stuff, has strange nightmares about living in the past, being killed by a powerful, mysterious man and everything else. Everything is OK, when friends and classmates start to disappear. Buffy meets a strange man, who will teach her what's really going on and how to use her special gift, for she turns out to be... Buffy, the vampire killer! Rating: 6/10- it was quite a cute movie but for the 80s!  Starring George Clooney, Juliet Luis, Harvey Kartel. I love this movie! It's great, it's fresh, it's funny, it's sexy! Well, at least George Clooney is sexy :). The plot Two of America most cruel and wanted criminals kidnap a priest and his two children and using them as fostages, direct to the Mexican border. The night finds them near a bar and they well, they decide to have some fun. Some quite bloody fun. Rating: 9/10- as I said I love this movie!  Starring Brat Pitt, Tom Cruise, even Anthonio Banderas. It was quite good. Not scary, but please, which is? Brat Bitt was good. For my greatest regret I haven't read the book so I can't make any comperisons. The plot A young man likes through the centuries caring in his heart both hate and love. And his ready to tell his life to the ones that are ready to listen. Rating: 7/10  Starring James Woods. James Woods is may be one of the best actors to play a vampire slayer. He's slim, cynic, persistant- the best. The plot When his father is beaten by a vampire and kills his whole family, James takes the fight against vampires quite personal and decides to whip them from the face of the Earth. When his team is killed by the mother, sorry, father of all vampires, he decides it's quite time to stop playing around and finish the vampire race once and for all. Rating: 8/10  Starring Jason Patrick. I really enjoyed this movie- especially the cast. The plot A devorced mother and her two sons move with her father in Santa Carla. The boys don't quite fit in the beginning but that's good, cause lots of murders happen... and courpses are never found. Rating: 8/10 |
