Who We Are
Our Classroom
We are the summer school marine technology class at the Sea-Tac Occupational Skills Center. We are taking a month long class and focusing on the biology of the Puget Sound. Our classroom is on the beach which allows us to study organisms in their natural environment, a privilege most high-school biology students do not have.
The class can be taken for two years. The first year students' main project is to create an organism list containing basic information on at least fifty organisms they have found on the beach and detailed information on at least twenty-five. The second year students complete projects such as this website.
