We need to remember that memorial services are prayers for our deceased brothers in which we pray to the Lord to give rest to all those who have fallen asleep in he hope of the Resurrection and eternal life. They are not emotional remembrances but a communion between the living and the dead and a way of expressing the genuine love of the living for their beloved dead.
