| Curriculum Daniel S�nchez de la Barquera Guti�rrez. Composer and percussionist with academic, professional and teaching developing in Mexico and Italy. His musical works include chamber and electronic music, ballet, theater, performance, television and cinema. They have been played in Mexico and different European countries. Mr. Sanchez has been sponsored by different institutions and awarded in Mexico and other countries. Mitote has been promoted in Mexico by Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes, Consejo Mexicano de la M�sica, Escuela Superior de M�sica, Universidad Nacional Aut�noma de M�xico, Direcci�n General de Tratamiento y Prevenci�n para Menores Infractores, Instituto de la Juventud and the Secretaria de Desarrollo Social del Distrito Federal, Consejo Nacional de Fomento Educativo and Fondo Regional para la Cultura y las Artes among others. Has been invited by the UNESCO and The International Music Council to Italy, Spain, Colombia, Uruguay and Canada. His work has been filmed by Lonely Planet as well as Discovery Channel (2004) and Instituto Latinoamericano de Comunicaci�n Educativa (2005). Mr. S�nchez is an active player, teacher and speaker. He has done several recordings and tours in Mexico and Europe. Some of his work has been published by Ediciones Mexicanas de M�sica. |
