More About Us

The Examination

An examination is very dependant on the problem and its
perceived cause.  The examination may include one or more of the following:

    -Physical Examination
    -Biomechanical and Orthopedic Examination
    -Vascular and Neurological Examination
    -Gait Analysis
-Muscle and Range of Motion Testing
    -X-ray Examination

At times a complete examination may require a blood test, CT scan or other tests requiring a referral to the appropriate lab.  Such testing will be ordered only when the in office examination is incomplete in providing a diagnosis for the problem.

The Treatment

All treatment plans are designed around the individual.  We will discuss the diagnosis and what treatment will be required to    produce an expedient recovery.  The treatment plan will require input from the patient to accommodate his or her jog, training schedule and lifestyle.

The Eugene office is equipped with a X-ray machine and the  Newport and Lebanon offices are within walking distances of the  hospital x-ray facilities.  The Eugene office is also equipped with hydrotherapy, ultrasound, and electromuscular and galvonic  stimulation equipment.  Physical therapy routines utilized in our treatment plan may require use of the office equipment as well as self administered treatment at home.

The final determining factor in any treatment plan is you and your lifestyle.  The emphasis of the office is to provide a plan that can fit into your daily routine and provide a cure.
