Heather is 16 and has been playing cello for just over 5 years. Before that, she played violin. The reason for starting cello was her 5th grade orchestra teacher. The teacher was a cellist and Heather always loved to hear her play. After that year, the summer between 5th and 6th grade, Heather started learning cello. This was one of the best decisions she could have ever made. Playing cello is now one of the most important things in her life and her favorite thing to do. She is the principle cellist of a community orchestra and really enjoys playing with that group. Aside from cello, she likes to design webpages and graphics and she loves rock climbing. In the future, she plans on continuing with music but isn't yet sure what she'll be doing. She is leaning towards going into music education |
