In Pekingese..................well, the black and white photo is of one of my boys, "Old Nick" "Nickie" (cream
black muzzle and ears) . He did a lot of winning for me. 11 Best in Shows, 85 Best in Groups, 26 Opposite
or Reserve in Shows and numerous "In Group" and "In Show" awards Best Of Breed, Melbourne Royal 1970
and Opposite Sex in Group, Dog Challenges and Best of Breeds at Sydney Royals 72 and 73, plus Dog Challenge
at Brisbane Royal 1974. His wins are just too many to list. A dog who enjoyed the ring and would walk on coals
for me. He was in the ring from 1969 (at 3 months) to 12 years old, AND still winning Best of Breed at that age.
He was phenomenal!! He died at 14 years.He is pictured here at 3 years of age winning Best In Show All Breeds.
Ormalu Kiwi Lass

I dropped out of Pekingese in the mid 80's, concentrating on the Affs. Came back in 1994 with a cream bitch
called "The Bitch is Back". She won Australian Bred in Show at the Victorian Pekingese Specialty 1996,
judge Michael Hill (Akarana) Canada. I also handled an English import for someone who had two dogs in the
class. I won the Open Dog Class with him (17 entries inthe ring) as well as the Dog Challenge. I used that dog
at stud, the following year, plus the gentleman's other New Zealand import. It is these puppies I have in the ring
at present. On 5th December 1998, Angel won Champion Puppy of Breed, and Puppy of Group.
Angel was mated in the spring of 99 to Aust Ch JONSVILLE BOY OH BOY at KUSHAN (imp UK),
a son of Cruft's 1999 BOB winner. Angel's babies are called "Isabella" (Ormalu Consider Me Pleaz)
and "Rufus" (Ormalu New Boy In Town) winner of his first Baby Puppy In Show on 10.9.1999.

Rufus, has gone to live with Freda Jermey, in partnership with Phil Martin. He is a Multi Puppy in Group
winner and also winner of Puppy In Show. He is by Aust.Cha. Jonsville Boy Oh Boy at Kushan (imp.UK)
who is owned by Peter and Freda Jermey. He is now an Austrailian Champion, and sire of Group and Best In Show winning stock for his owners.
Update pictures of "Isabella"
Isabella has been mated to "Oliver" "New" Australian Champion Ormalu Classified" she is due
April 29 th 2001. We are looking forward to these babies, as Oliver is leaving the Country
before they are born.
At 4 1/2 years we tragically lost Isabella to pyometra, just after she had been mated to D'Arcy, (who was given away as a pet and de-sexed not long afterwards). Sometimes I feel it isn't worth the heartache, when we breed our girls so seldom. A son from her last litter is an Austrailian Champion "Ormalu French Lover" owned by another person, and her daughter, Kisses, "Ormalu French Kisses", has just had a litter at another kennel, four of which were entered and made their debut at a show just recently, (26 th June 2004)
South African Ch Ormalu Colours Of The Wind
Cassie the weekend she was purchased by Mrs. Jean Peden from South Africa,
after winning the Bitch Chall,
Champion Puppy in Group and Minor Puppy in
Group, at 6 months and 1 week.
"Cassie" the parti-colour, has been sold to South Africa, winning in Queensland, before she went, Baby in Group
twice, Champion Puppy in Group once, Minor Puppy in Group twice plus a Bitch Challenge, as well as a large
Baby Bitch Class at the Toy Dog Club Specialty in August '98. All this from 3 months two days to 6 months
and two days. Since moving to her new home Cassie has gained her South African title. On 6th December 1998,
at her first show in South Africa "Cassie" won Best Bitch, Best Puppy of Breed and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW,
( this "In Show" award was repeated FOUR times at her first 4 shows.)
