MOSS began while still in high school in Wyoming under the name SPAWN. A combination of hardcore, METAL, and fusion mixed together with an acute sense and love for the music to produce "200 proof" the debut release from the group. Although growing the band needed more... more control over what they needed as a band... with that 3/4 of the band moved to Winter Park to attend Full Sail and pursue their music full time. The band pressed on and changed their name to MOSS, adding long time friend McCoy (guitarist/bassist from Punishment) to begin the new era of the band's evolution.
