| 1st of September 2002 Well people, Long time no update!! This can be blamed on our Drummer Iian, who is usually too busy with his porn, to think about updating the site *(Wonders how long it will take for Iian to change that, or have a go at him)* This is Sam *Singer* I will be taking over the upkeep of this site. Excuse all the old referances to Orion that are still on the site. I will get around to changing them in due time. We ARE now known as Oryon, for those of you that haven't realised. We have spent some time away from gigs/etc due to a combination of many different things. Al *Guitarist* Is now married, he and his wife Genelle are now busy a life for themselves with a new house (in the middle of nowhere) etc, etc. Congrats all, you MADMAN! We have also welcomed a new bass player GEORGE *God knows his last name, hard to remember it is!* and due to this fact, Oryon is still busy breaking him in, and ironing out any problems. To his credit, George has so far fit in wonderfully. He has a professional approach to the music, and a personality which fits in with Oryons attitude to enjoying their music. I mean .. after all, it is ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC!!! Oryon has been back into the studios, busilly preparing the song 'WARRIOR'. Which will be added to the now LONG overdue EP 'CONTROL' as well as plans for it to appear on a Motor-X video. Al was contacted by a Video Editor who through some minor miracle heard a four-track demo of Warrior, and requested a studio version of it, for a video project he is involved with. After a few trips to the studio, many many beers, pizzas, and cigarettes, The song has been completed. We are just awaiting a few minor touch-ups on the Digital master, and it will be ready. Our EP 'CONTROL' is hopefully not to far off now. I will ensure to keep you updated as to its whereabouts and availability. Other news. I am LED to believe that we will soon be recording some live footage. If i am correct, the live footage will be used on our belated filmclip for the song 'Too Late'. This live footage will be taken at the RAFFLES HOTEL on Fri Sept 13th. For more information. Click on the GIGS link. Anyways, i think that should be about enough for now. Im sure that by now most people would have given up on our website anyways *Due to lack of update* For thoses that have stuck with it, and checked up on us regularly, Thankyou.
