Hakki Atun Leader of the
Parliament from letter to
Mrs Suzan Ari -22 Dec 92
|
|
His method was more than theoretic -it was all
thru his career ordinarily practised successfully
He taught in an acceptably cheerful atmosfere
~ the students learned easier, more and better,
both the subjects taught and good behaviour.
One of his jokes in teaching English was this:
"'Hurry up,' said the foreman to the Cypriot on
the roof; 'No,' said the Cypriot; 'Hurry up!' the foreman repeated, and, 'No!' replied again the Cypriot. 'Hey!..' shouted the foreman, 'Hurry up, I say!"and the Cypriot responded, 'Oh.. boss, you no hear!?... No, I say, no! You no see?! Harry no up here; Harry down -there!'" |
|
He instilled appreciation
of culture as his method ensured a higer level of, approachability & trust
and sustained interest...
|
|
" A successful modern educator ( ... ) he will
be, with love and respect, remembered always. " |
|
He understood people...

had known me all my life' |
