6/16/2003 This morning Kylie and I played for a while in the living room before she got hungry and cried for her mommy. After her breakfast, she fell back asleep for another hour. Typical. Wake everyone up, then go back to sleep. She is like an alarm clock. But much, much cuter! At any rate, Kylie is quickly learning to crawl. She gets up on her hands and knees, and sways back and forth, like she is gathering momentum for the (BANG! she hits her head on the shelves, table leg, my foot, etc...) big moment. Then she cries, and it rips my heart in two to hear that. But if I pick her up and sing the "Kylie Song" she is fine again, laughing and trying to rip out my eyeballs or stick her fingers up my nose to the third knuckle. I can just imagine her thinking "There must be something good inside there! And why can't I rip these balls out of the socket and play with them, too? Come on, dad! Give me your eyes!" |
