Recently Kylie has developed a passion for moving around on the relatively smooth wood floors of our apartment. She lays on her stomach, arches her back, and tries to move forward to grab her toy on the floor in front of her. And she scoots backwards about 10cm. So she gets frustrated, tries again, and moves backwards some more. Today she apparently made the discovery that she is moving backwards, and now plans it that way. Mayuho talked about how she scooted all the way across the living room, turned, and backed into the small space between the sofa and wall, just like she was a car backing up into a parking space between two SUVs! When she told the story, she even acted it out for me, which had me just rolling on the floor with laughter. |
