Today Mayuho, Kylie, and I celebrated our anniversary by going out to a Bhuddist temple that has a weekend flea market and looking at antiques. We found many wonderful things that would go well in our dream house, but would probably... no, definitely be out of place in our apartment. Kylie was of course adored by all, and as usual every person we saw gave us advice on the baby. Some direct "You should wrap her in a towel, it is too cold today" (it was 22C) and some indirect. "It sure is warm today. What a thick towel you have wrapped around your baby..." (We didn't really have a towel wrapped around her, but if we had, I am positive someone would have remarked such.)  We smiled and nodded to each person's advice, and promptly ignored it. Kylie lets us know when she is cold, hot, tired, or hungry. She is the boss, not some stranger at a flea market.
But anyway, we then went to look for more baby chairs and sofas at the furniture store, and finally found one at a recycle shop. It is a red "Hello Kitty" chair. We are not really Kitty fans, but it is a nice chair, and inexpensive. We then got an ice-cream cake at Baskin Robins, and came home to celebrate our seventh wedding anniversary with fondue and cake. And it was nice.
