Today Mayuho and Seiko (and of course Dai-chan and Kylie) went to Hitachi Ota to see the "Kanasa Oh Den Gaku"(Kanasa Shrine Big Traditional Performance) festival, which is only done every 72 years! So it was truly a once in a lifetime thing. Or maybe twice for Kylie and Dai-chan. But I seriously doubt it would be three times! It is a pretty big thing here! The parade comes down from the mountains to the beach near our house, so I have a chance to go see part of it tomorrow. But I will have to leave pretty early to catch my train to work. Oh well. That is the way my cookie crumbles. Kylie and Mayuho should be able to see a bit more though. |
