To give Mayuho a break today, Kylie and I walked to the beach while Mayuho went to an onsen, or hot springs bath, that was right on the beach. It was very nice, but I got a bit mixed up, and instead of coming out close to the onsen, Kylie and I emerged onto the beach about 20 meters from where we would have if we had gone straight! As Homer would say, "Duh-oh!" But then Mayuho called on the keitai (Japanese for a cell phone) and she came to pick us up. After that we went to my school, stopping at Baskin Robbins for an ice cream cone, and then back home. A very nice day.
I noticed that the bald spot on the back of Kylie's head is getting bigger! Oh no! But then again, if she doesn't make a callus from rubbing her head back and forth all the time, I imagine the hair will grow back. |
