I took Kylie for a walk again this morning. This time there were some women cleaning up Kashima Shrine, which I like to walk through on my way to Mr. Donuts. I made sure that it was after 9:00 today! At any rate, they loved Kylie, saying things like "Wow, she is so cute!" and "Look how big she is!" So Kylie and I bought them some donuts as a kind of "Thanks for keeping our walking route so nice and clean" present. And when I gave it to them, they gave us some "Traffic Safety Sugar Cakes" or at least that is the only way I can describe them. Sugar and flour cakes with a "Drive Safely" mark embossed on them. I can't really do justice to them. Maybe I'll take a picture of them next time. |
