Kylie went for her first stroll in the stroller today! She was so excited, she... Well, she fell asleep. Just like usual. But that is OK, because she is the best baby around. We took a nice little course down the world's steepest paved hill (I imagine a sheer rock face would be a few degrees steeper (or is that "more steep?... Wait, less than two syllables, add "er")) and along the world's busiest road to that place- The place where friends meet. The home of the greatest food ever invented, Mr. Donuts. Mayuho had the strawberry old fashioned and tea (and so did Kylie, a few hours later), and I had the coconut donut with coffee (free refills). It was all very wonderful. Kylie slept through the whole experience. Big surprise there. But she does stay awake a lot longer at home these days. Gone are the days of doing housework while she dozed in the living room. But that is Ok, because more time awake means more time she is smiling at us.
Oh, I forgot! She gave her first squeal today! You know, like the baby in the sun on the Teletubbies! It was so neat! We have no idea why she did, we were just playing a game and holding her, when she burst out with it! But it was so cute, it could have melted chocolate. |
