A crisp new dollar bill to the first person to identify where I stole that title from.... I have a feeling Sonya can do it. Name that book and this shiny dollar could be yours! Well, it's not very shiny... At any rate, e-mail me at [email protected] and be the first on your block to prove you have no life, if you will go through that much work for a dollar, which will hardly buy you anything (nice) these days.
But seriously folks, Kylie is getting so big! We weighed her tonight before her bath, 5.6Kg! Wow! She is getting BIG! Her legs look kind of like Sumo-wrestler legs in miniature, you know how they have folds in them from being so huge. It is kinda weird. But when she starts to use them more effectively, I am sure they will be a little more ordinary.
Kylie has reached the stage where she doesn't want to be alone anymore. Not that we ignored her, I mean, how can you ignore such a cute baby? But before she would watch her mobile for hours, or sleep all day, and Mayuho could do stuff around the house. Now, Kylie doesn't sleep much in the daytime (but she still sleeps through the night most of the time), and she always wants to know where her mommy is. If she cries, and Mayuho comes into the room, Kylie just stops crying in mid-wail, and smiles at her. Kind of like me...
And in other news, I remember that 7 years ago today, Dad and I set out on an all night road trip to Chicago to get my visa so I could go to Japan. And Mayuho handed in our wedding certificate- on Feb. 29, 1996. Yes, I spend my wedding night in a hotel in Chicago... with my Dad! Kinda funny. |
