This morning, after staying up 'till two o'clock, we slept late. Kylie did too! Then we had a nice relaxing breakfast of my whole-wheat pancakes before heading off to "Aka-chan Onpo" or something like that. It is basically a baby department store. If it has to do with babies, you can buy it there. It is kind of eerie, going in there and seeing SO MANY BABIES all over! Every woman in the store has at least one with her. There are the gangs of puzzled dads, wandering around, picking up items they have no idea how to use, or indeed what they are, looking at them with bewildered expressions, then blushing and putting it down as they realize it may be some sort of "feminine product." You know the type, they live in dread of being sent to the store to buy more "napkins" for their wives. Whey are they called napkins anyway? I wouldn't want to use them on the table. |
