Kylie was such a good baby today! Mayuho said that when she was asleep, she slept soundly, and when awake, she was always happy, gurgling and cooing and waving her arms in the air as she watched her favorite Miffy mobile. Is Miffy popular in the States I wonder... I never really had much to do with babies when I was in America, so I don't really know. She is huge here though. A serious rival to Kitty.
But on to the news of the big diaper showdown with mom.... Kylie faked a move, and she shot.... And scored! Yes, she managed to soak her blanket! Just a bit faster than mom and the diaper. When this reporter interviewed the triumphant Kylie on the sofa after the game, she replied "AAAUuuiiigggththopbbbttt." When asked to clarify, she expounded "OOOoooooohhh Aiaieeaaaa." I then gave her a hug and a kiss on the head. And thus ends another day in Ibaraki, where all the men are bearded, the women brainy, and the babies cute as buttons. Goodnight everyone! |
