Kylie Gets a Package
2/6/2003
This morning as we sat in the living room drinking our morning beverages (coffee for me, tea for Mayuho) the doorbell rang. "Who could it be?" We wondered. We went to the door and we saw..... wait for it ......... the package delivery man! He had a REALLY BIG box from ........ keep waiting....... Canada! Our good friends in the frozen North (even more frozen than MN!) had sent us so much stuff! We were so excited! And it included the cute blanket and toy you can see in the picture! Kylie loves the toy already. We are using it for tummy time now, to get her to look around for it and exercise those neck muscles. We have decided that the blankets were too nice to use for everyday use, and we will use them for her car-seat and stroller. Then everyone can enjoy them!
In other news, Kylie continues to make new vocalizations: This morning as Mayuho and  I were talking in bed, Kylie kept looking back and forth, and saying "AAaguuaooourrbthstt UUUUUGGGG" and other neat noises. I guess she wanted to be part of the conversation. It was so cute!
When I was growing up, I never thought I would use the word "cute" as much as I do now. Hmm.... Oh no, feeling the need to do some stereotypical man things to achive balance... You know, fix things that aren't broken... or at least weren't until we fixed them, or maybe use a shovel or an axe....
