2/4/2003 So anyway, Mom sent us an article about babies that said that they should have supervised "Tummy-Time," which can help them tie their shoes or use scissors later in life I guess. Hmm... I can't say as I see a connection between laying on the stomach and manual dexterity, but hey, anything that doesn't damage her can only make her stronger, right? So there she is, doing the tummy-time thing. She had a bit of fun with it, I think she was pretending to be a skydiver for a while, she spread out her arms and bent her knees like she was skydiving. And if that can keep my daughter from tripping over a poorly tied shoelace and stabbing her leg with an incorrectly held pair of scissors, I am all for that. |
