DIRT - KART RULES
ALL KARTS MUST HAVE A NUMBER PLATE ON THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE KART
ALL KART RACERS MUST WEAR A HELMET, GLOVES, EYE PROTECTION,
LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, AND LONG PANTS
THERE ARE NO WEIGHT MINIMUMS IN ANY KART CLASS
If less than 3 Karts in any class, that class may be combined with the
Next higher class, grids will be on the back rows, and scored separately
BEGINNER ( AGES 7 & UNDER
) - ENGINE: ANY STOCK APPEARING 5 HP GASOLINE OR ALCOHOL.MAY RUN CAGED AND UNCAGED COMBINED
.425 Restrictor Required on Engines that allow a restrictor plate.
JUNIOR 1 (AGES 8 TO 11 ) -
ENGINE: 5-6.5 HP STOCK APPEARING ENGINE (MAY BLUEPRINT) GASOLINE OR ALCOHOL CAGED AND UNCAGED KARTS COMBINED.500 Restrictor Required on Engines that allow a restrictor plate.
JUNIOR 2 (AGES 12 TO 15 ) NO RESTRICTORS
- ENGINE: 5 -6.5 HP STOCK APPEARING ENGINE (MAY BLUEPRINT) CAGED AND UNCAGED COMBINED FUEL: GASOLINE OR ALCOHOLBRIGGS ANIMAL (AGES 12 & UP) NO RESTRICTORS
- ENGINE: BRIGGS ANIMAL OR RAPTOR STOCK APPEARING ENGINE (MAY BLUEPRINT) CAGED AND UNCAGED COMBINED FUEL: GASOLINE OR ALCOHOLSUPER STOCK (AGES 8 AND OVER) NO RESTRICTORS –
ENGINE: SINGLE CYLINDER 2 OR 4 STROKE AIR OR LIQUID COOLED - MOTORCYCLE ENGINES ALLOWED.
OPEN E (AGES 12 AND UP)
- ENGINE: STOCK APPEARING 5 HP 4 CYCLE BRIGGS AND STRATTON, 290 LIFT CAM MAXIMUM, STOCK LENGTH ROD. NO TILLOTSON CARBS. FUEL: GASOLINE OR ALCOHOLRUN WHAT YOU BRUNG ( AGES 12 AND UP)
- ENGINE: ANY ENGINE. SINGLE CYLINDER - GASOLINE OR ALCOHOL, NITRO METHANE AND OTHER ADDITIVES ALLOWED IN THIS CLASS ONLY )MUST HAVE A MIMIMUM OF 3 KARTS TO MAKE A CLASS. PROTEST FEE IS $50.00. IF YOU PROTEST SOMEONE, YOU WILL ALSO BE TECHED FOR THE SAME RULE. ONLY THE DRIVER AND ONE OTHER PERSON WILL BE ALLOWED IN TECH AREA AT ONE TIME.

TOP 5 WILL BE TECHED AT THOSE EVENTS AND THE CLASSES WILL BE LISTED ON THE GRIDS.
If your kart dies on the track, or you return to the paddock area for any reason, you finish in that position as a DNF the final score sheet for that race. You will not be allowed to work on the kart on the track.
The only exception to this rule is in the beginner Kart class.
DISQUALIFICATIONS
The fine must be paid before the vehicle owner/racer will be allowed to participate in future events.
The fine is $50.00 and must be paid in order for you to return to the points series.
If it is proven that a kart has an illegal engine, the kart driver and or owner will be subject to a $50.00 fine and forfeit the event prize as well as this race program points.
Fighting is specifically prohibited. Fighting by any owner, racer or pit-crew member will be fined $75.00 payable that day or $100.00 payable on return to the race series, if not paid that day. Suspension from the race series and that facility will also occur.
