She is our leader, and in a sense our clan mother. Seen here contemplating the punishment for one of "The Many". We look to her for guidance as we do Ma'at-most revered. |
Name: Ma'Kheru Rank: Clan Leader, Pharaoh Position: Ma'at Ka Re Age: Time is imagined Race: Calindrian Pet Peeve: Injustice, dishonor Favorite quote: The difference between genius and stupidity, is that genius has its limits |
Life Story:My earliest memories are of loneliness and seclusion. My mother, Ma'at was always out doing that which she felt was important, for the good of all. Yet forgeting a small child needed her as well. Her priests and diciples were my guardians. Yet they too were often preoccupied with some "thing" that needed their attention. I never knew the true identity of my father. I called Ludlum my father for he gave me the guidance and nurturing that I was lacking. Along with my "brother" TalKiiran, who was born of a different mother, I learned many things. I spent most of my time alone with nature, watching the animals, listening to the trees sing as the wind danced within their branches. Finding the quiet solitude agonizing and yet profoundly liberating. In time I was able to be with Mother observing her at her craft, solving others' problems, righting wrongs, forever trying to do the right thing. This was her Truth. Soon, it would become mine. I trained with every fighter, thief, mage and talent that came along, working to perfect my skills. I made alliances where most would not. Knowing it is better to keep people close to you than having to look far for answers. Many people have come to walk the path of Ma'at, some who have traveled on to distant lands, I still carry in my heart. Those that have been lost for whatever reason, are forever remembered in the hall of honor. During my many adventures in the realm of Calindria, I have discovered the truth of my parentage. Castellan, who has always been a wise and guiding God, has watched my steps from afar and taken interest in my comings and goings as long as I can remember. Now, finding a scroll buried deep beneath the sands, I have learned that he is my true father. A night of passion, leading into many and then the birth of a child that Ma'at placed great power and responsibility upon, bestowing upon her brow 'the Name that cannot be uttered', only to be known as 'the breath of truth', the Ma K'heru. To utter the name, brings great power and with it the possibility of terrible destruction. It would seem that my new path is to discover what this 'Name' is so that I might bring about peace in the desert or be forced to marry outside of my order. May Ma'at and RA protect me. |
