Steel Coaster (03.07.02) : The most likely rumor popping up about MFI is that in 2003
they will recieve some form of a Steel Coaster! Right now, the
possibility is most likely a Steel Corkscrew or Steel Twister,
something like Viper at SFDL, but a little different and more
modern. This is to start some stability in the park, so in the
future they can get some modern coasters. I emailed the park
and talked to them about it, and they said that it will definitely
not happen in 2003, but there are many considerations for 2003
still, and they are still looking into all of their possiblities.
Daredevil (03.07.02) : For 2002, the park is going
to reopen with an incoming attraction that they had last year,
Daredevil, an S&S Drop Tower. The problem last year, was
it didn't get approved after it was built, because it is over
100 feet tall, and on Grand Island, you have to have a vote
for that height. Well, in 2002, it not got approved, so it will
be the first year that you can ride it.
2002 Flat Rides? (03.07.02) : When I emailed the
park in December 2001, they stated that they were still looking
into a couple more rides and producers. They would not tell
the possibilies, but stated that they were not putting anything
real major, like a coaster until 2003. They just hoped to get
one flat ride that would attract some attention to the park
for 2002. I will update you when I here another word.
