| Wassup all you people out there in internet land. This is your party host, the Darkheart Kid from under the blue Toronto Maple Leafs hat. It's been awhile so let me get started on last weeks Wrestlemania and roll from there. Personally I thought the Wrestlemania 19 ranks right up there with some of the greatest. Every match from top to bottom was at solid to down right great. If I were to rank the matches from 1 to 9 this is how I would rank them: 9. Undertaker & Nathan Jones vs Big Show & A-Train 8. Victoria vs Jazz vs Trish Stratus 7. Triple H vs Booker T 6. Matt Hardy vs Rey Mysterio 5. Team Angle vs Los Guerreros vs Benoit and Rhyno 4. Rock vs Stone Cold 3. Hogan vs McMahon 2. Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho 1. Kurt Angle vs Brock Lesnar I was really hoping that Hogan would come out to "Real American" seeing that our nation is in the midst of war. Some reports around the net are saying that Steve Austin's neck is in terrible shape. If that's the case, it sure showed at Wrestlemania. The Rock definitely carried Austin throughout the match and put on another good match together at the "granddaddy of them all." It was unbelievable that with so much ring work, there was only one botched spot of significance and that of course was Brock Lesnar's Shooting Star Press. I still can't believe that after landing on his head and suffering a concussion that he had the presence of mind to continue and F-5 Angle for the win. |
