The
following are the rules for lotting
while on Dynamis with Orange Linkshell.
REVISED
for ColdZones
In
order to help combat LARS (Lot and Run Syndrome)
the following Rules were put into effect on September 17, 2006. Please
note that these rules are to reward members that attend on a regular or
semi-regular basis. They are to ensure that the rare and valuable AF
that drop from the ColdZones does not go to a first time attendee
rather than a member that has helped in the past.
1)
Attendance will be taken at each Dynamis.
2)
This attendance will be used in determining lot priority for ColdZone
AF. Cold Zones are DynamisBeaucedine and DynamisXarcabard. The regular
OrangeLinkshell Rules will be used in the ColdZones with the following
exception:
Lotting preference for AF in a ColdZone will be given to the member
with higher attendance. (Examples Below)
3)
Once a member recieves any one AF from a ColdZone his or her attendance will
be reduced to zero (0) at which point the member can begin building
attendance again. (Exception is Free Lots to members 70+. NO attendance loss will be applied)
4) If Two members have the same lot comment and the same attendance they
will lot against eachother. The winner having her attendance reduced to 0.
5)
In the event that noone has a comment for a particular AF and it drops
the regular Free Lot for members 70+ will be allowed.
6)
Attendance will be given even if a member must leave early or come late
under the condition that one of the primary sac-holders (Lokitaru,
Crystalmoon, Caid) give clearance. (This is to ensure that the reason
for being late or leaving early was a valid one.) Not Valid
include:
* I wanted to lvl my 20rdm in LaTheinPlateau
* I was here for the first 10mins but my comp crashed
* I came but was asleep and afk for 50% of the run
* I just want to get the flag I know the run is over but do you have a
mule that can get me in.. oh and do I get attendance for coming too
(LARS may be in your system if any of these apply to you.. seek help)

EXAMPLES:
Player Names: Rozencrantz and
Guildenstein
1) Rozencrantz and Guildenstein
come to DynamisBeaucedine
they both meet the regular requirments for AF lotting and both want the
WHM Body. Rosencrantz has attended 10 Dynamis Runs with OrangeLinkshell
while Guildenstein has attended 13. They both place WHM in seek
comment. WHM Body drops. Guildenstein gets lot and his attendance is
reduced from 13 to 0. Rozencrantz must pass. A second
WHM Body drops. Now Rozencrantz may lot. His
attendance is reduced from 10 to 0.
2) Rozencrantz and Guildenstein
are feeling sneaky. Rozencrantz
has attended 10 times and Guildenstein 13 times. Both want whm AF but
realize they are the only 2 White Mages. So they decide to CastLots on
100currency. WHM drops and becomes a free lot. since they are the only
2 White Mages 70+ they are permitted to cast lots on the AF while
maintaining their comment of 100currency. Guildenstein
may get 100currency and AF, but
he also runs the risk of losing his White Mage AF to the more LARS
afflicted Rozencrantz.
REVISED
Regular Rules
1)
Enough 1 Value Currency will be
taken at the start of the Dynamis to cover the cost of the hourglass
used to enter Dynamis. This will be collected by a sacholder.
The cost of the hourglass is approximately 50-60 pieces of
currency. Note:
Occasionally there will be instances when a larger amount of currency
is collected. For example: On the first Dynamis run of Orange Linkshell
enough currency to cover the costs of the hourglass and the next
hourglass will be collected. Also in the event that not enough currency
was collected on the previous run to cover the costs of the
hourglass, they will be collected on the following run.
2)
1
value Currency after the
initial 50-60 currency collected will be collected by a sacholder and
then divided evenly among members with the statement "1 Bill" , "1
Coin" (etc) in their search comment.
3)
100 value currency pieces will be
lotted on by members with the statement "Cast Lots: 100 Bill" in their
search comment.
4)
Members must have a Job of
LV 70+ in order to lot on AF ( A list of members main
job and other 70+ jobs can be found in the members
section). Please post your intended lot in your PT message.
If AF
drops and noone wants to lot on it it will be free lotted on by anyone
with that job 70+. If still noone wishes to lot on the AF then it will
be free lotted on by anyone.
Searchg comment examples:
- BRD AF: Cast Lots -
- MNK AF -
- 100c -
- 1money -
etc.
Note: It is not required that you are playing the
job that you are lotting for. You only need to have that job LV 70+.
5)
To
give equal opportunity to all members involved we ask that you please
choose either One Piece of AF - or
- 100 value currency - or
- 1 value currency per dynamis run. Yourr
choice must be placed in your search comment prior to entering
Dynamis. Thank you for your cooperation.
6) Miscellaneous drops are free
drops. Please do not Cast Lots on these.
EXAMPLES:
Player
Name: Hamlet
1)
Hamlet doesn't want any AF. Hamlet doesn't want 100 value currency.
Hamlet doesn't want 1 value currency. Hamlet places no comment in his
seek. Hamlet gets NIL.
2)
Hamlet
doesn't want any AF. Hamlet WANTS 100 value currency. Hamlet
doesn't want 1 value currency. Hamlet places "100 currency" comment in
his seek.
Hamlet gets to cast lots on 100 value currency if it drops. Hamlet
doesnt get to lot on AF. Hamlet does not get any 1 value curency.
3)
Hamlet WANTS only 1 value currency. Hamlet places the comment "1 Coin"
in his seek. During Dynamis 100 - 1 value currencies drop. All 100 are
lotted on by a sacholder. After Dynamis the sacholder minuses
50
coins ( the approximate cost of the hourglass ) and then divides the
remaining 50 coins among the members with the comment "1 Coin" in their
seek. If there were 5 such members then Hamlet gets 10 - 1 value
currencies. ( Hamlet can do what he likes with his 10 currencies )
4)
Hamlet WANTS AF. Hamlet places the comment "WAR: AF" in his seek.
Hamlet can lot on WAR AF if it drops. Hamlet does not get to lot on
100 value currency. Hamlet does not get any 1 value curency.
5)
Hamlet
WANTS AF. Hamlet WANTS 100 value currency.
Hamlet WANTS 1 value currency. Hamlet must choose what he values most;
a chance at his AF or a chance at his 100 value currency or a guarantee
of some 1 value currency.
6)
Hamlet WANTS AF. However Hamlet WANTS 1 value currency more. Hamlet
places the comment "1 Coin"
in his seek comment. Then the AF that Hamlet wants drops but noone else
has this AF in their seek comment. After a sacholder verifies that
noone wants it it is open lot for Jobs +70. Hamlet can now lot on his
AF and possibly get AF and 1 value currency. ( This is expected to be a
RARE case )
