Stephen A. Jones

   Stephen A. Jones, age 78, of 1013 Creech Road, died Tuesday. He moved to Naples in 1923 from Jasper, Ga. to help build the Tamiami Trail and had been a resident since then. His brother, the late Cale Jones was Naples' first Police Chief.
    Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, ( Bea) Beatrice P.Jones; a son, Stephen A. Jones Jr.; three daughters, Irie J.Boutwell, Mrs. Armon ( Barbara) Morgan and Melba J.Chandler; 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted Thursday 11am from the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel  with Rev. Walter Lauster of the Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in the redeemer section of Naples Memorial Gardens.
  Friends may call Wednesday 6 to 8 pm at the Hodges Chapel.
Beatrice Bickford Jones

   Beatrice Bickford Jones, age 75 of 1013 Creech Road, died Friday, September 12,
1986. She had been a Naples resident since 1923, coming from Alva, Florida. Bea was a member of the Naples Church of God and the Collier County Historical Society.
    She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Morgan, Irie Mazuco, and Melba Ammons; and one son, Stephen Allison Jones  Jr. all of Naples; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
    Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Allison Jones Sr.and a grandson, Harmon Cole Chandler, 111
    Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 pm from the Naples church of God, 1074 10th Street North, with Rev. Gary Bickford and Rev. Walter Lauster , officiating.
    Burial will follow in Naples Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
 
Ethel B. Roland
Collier County, Naples Daily News -3-17- 1977 pg.5c
  Grant, Ala.- Ethel B. Roland, 76, of Grant, Ala. and formerly of Naples, died Wednsday in Grant. She was born in Jasper, Ga. and lived most of her life in Naples.
    Mrs. Roland is survived by two sons, Jack Roland and Douglas Roland, both of Naples; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Morgan of Jacksonville, Ala and Helen Williamson of Grant.  She is also survived by her twin brother, Stephen A. Jones of Naples, eight grandchildern and two great grandchildren.
   Friends are invited to attend services Friday at 2pm at the Naples Church of God with the Rev. Walter Lauster officiating, coinciding with funeral services Friday at 2pm in the Jacksonville Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Jacksonville, Ala. where burial will follow.
   Pittmans Naples Chapel, 850 Sixth Ave. N. is in charge of arrangements.
