Surviving him is a mother,and father, three sisters who are, Mrs. B.C.Thames
of Hattisbury, Mrs. W.A. Mallett and Mrs.Quarles of Meridian. His brothers are W.R. and L. Burdine, both residing in the city.
Mr. Burdine was a quiet young man and was liked by all who knew him. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 from the late residence of the
deceased, 508 Reynoir Street. Internment being in the Biloxi Cemetery. Rev.H.T.Taylor will conduct the service.

Burial will be at South Park Cemetery in Roswell.
Mrs. Cox was born on May 2, 1905 in Jackson, Miss. to Mr. and Mrs. Ross Burdine, both now deceased. She was married April 1,1949 in Gulfport, Miss. to Luther E. Cox Sr. who preceded her in death on Oct.31,1980.
A Roswell resident since 1952, she was a homemaker and a Methodist. Survivors include 2 sons , Luther E. Cox Jr.of Washington, D.C.and Ronald D. Cox of Corpus Christi, Texas.; one daughter, Charlotte Woody, of Witchita, Kansas; two sisters, Ruby Lowery of Gulfport, Miss.and Gladys Bosarge of Las. Vegas, Nev.; Six grandchildren, and one great grandaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
