Annie ( Addison) Howard

  Annie R. Howard, 82, of 3260 Lunar St. died Thursday at her residence. She was a lifetime resident of Collier county, coming from Marco Island in 1978 and was a member of the Marco Island Church of God. In 1973 Mrs Howard was honored by a plaque at the semi-centennial as the oldest living native woman on Marco Island.
   She is survived by two sons, Francis Howard of Naples, and Wilbur Howard of Fort Myers.; three daughters, Lois Crews and Gwen Bowers, both of Naples and Lettie Norville of Klamath Falls, Ore; a stepdaughter, Leona High of Tampa, FL.; four brothers, Richard and George Addison of Naples, Ernest Addison of Tice, FL.and Chester Addison of Fort Myers; two sisters, Dolly Storter of Fort Myers, FL and Alice Graziano of Medford, Mass; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the Church of God , Naples, with Rev. Walter Lauster, paster, officiating.
   Burial will follow in the Marco Island Cemetery , Marco Island, FL.
Friends may call at the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Chester C. Addison, 87, died Tuesday April 9,1985 . Born in Marco,Island, FL. June 6,1897, moving to Ft.Myers in 1938.
He was a retired employee of Daniels Boat Yard, and for 25 years owned the C&N Nursery on Crawford Street. He was a veteran of WW1 and a member of the American Legion Post # 38.
  He is survived by four daughters, Wavia L.Corbitt of N.Ft.Myers; Margaret Hay of Labelle, Elouise Farmer of San Antonio, Texas, Vita Rogers of Ft. Myers; two sons, Claude Addison and Carl Addison, both of Ft.Myers; Two sisters, Dolly Storter of Ft. Myers and Alice Graziano of Medford, Mass.; Three brothers, Richard and George Addison of Naples, Earnest Addison of N.Ft. Myers; Twenty three grandchildren,; forty nine great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
  There will be a visitation on Friday, April 12th, from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Leo W. Engelhardt Funeral Home on McGregor Blvd.
   Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13th, at the Gardner Baptist Church in Gardner, Florida. Graveside committment services by the American Legion Post #38 of Ft. Myers.
   Honorary pallbeaerers are: John K. Corbitt Jr., Thomas M.Eason, Sr., and Thomas M.Eason Jr. Pallbearers will be the grandsons, Joe Rogers, Ricky Rogers,Mike Rogers, Chet Addison, Gene Addison, Buddy Addison, and Bill Moffett.
   Leo W. Engelhardt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ernest Addison,77,of Fort Myers died Thursday, May 4, 1989. He had been a lifetime resident of the Naples-Fort Myers area.
  He is survived by his son Darrell Addison of Naples, one sister, Dolly Storter of Fort Myers; a nephew, Claude Addison of Estero; a niece, Glen Bowers and several other nieces and nephews.
  Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 9, at 10 a.m. at Naples Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Elwood F. Kern of the Bonita Springs Church of God officiating.
   Friends may call Monday from 6-9 pm at the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel in Naples.
