-Trojans bow out to C.F. in District play, end season

The East High girls basketball team has finished this season as of 2/17. Unfortunately for East, it has yielded no wins. This year East has played 20 games, winning none.
"It was a tough season. If things are going to improve the girls are going to have to get in the gym," said coach Dave Hirsh.
The last game of the season played 2/17, at C.F, only shadowed what came earlier. Even during the first few seconds of the game at C.F., East seemed to be overwhelmed by the steady increase of C.F.'s score.
East High was beaten by a final score of 102-32. Varsity player Lindsey Williams had this to say after being beat by C.F., "I am just glad I got to make a three-pointer."
The regional quarter final was crucial to advancement. C.F.'s win allows them to pass on to the regional semifinal, while East is finished, at least for this year.
