Valentine's Day: An annual hype
The little heart shaped candies are gone, the petals have fallen off the roses, the boxes of chocolates is now empty, and another Valentine's Day has passed.
Maybe for some, February 14 was a dreaded day. The only heart shaped candy received was from Grandma's candy dish. Roses seem to just wither away and die away. Chocolate is one thing everyone loves, but who needs it, right?
Whether you are single, dating, not about romance, a lover, a fighter, or whatever, everyone nneds to be shown a little love, and Valentine's Day is the day for this.
If you didn't receive anything that reflects one's love and affection for you, don't stress. You are not alone.
How is it to be one who didn't get the gifts, one who watched the beautiful roses dry out, and one who was able to enjoy that last piece of chocolate?
In reality, who truly has a perfect, happy Valentine's Day? I mean, some people get gifts, some people get nothing, and some could care less. Either way, does it ever go exactly the way you want it to?
If you are upset about your day of "love" this year, better luck next year. If you are happy with how the day went, then I'd say you had a Happy Valentine's Day.

The following people shared with us what they got for Valentine's Day this year.

I got a card, some chocolate, and some good quality time.
