The eight men charged in the case were arrested because the boy was 15 at the time of their encounters. The age of consent in Connecticut is 16, a provision that Gemino's attorney criticized, saying he wanted to shake the lawmakers who created it by their lapels.
"I'm infuriated by perverts r us sex stories this law," said Timothy C. Moynahan, Gemino's attorney.
Christopher Gemino, one of Gemino's three children, spoke on his foot sex father's behalf Wednesday. He cried during his speech, saying his father had taught him to lead an honest life. However, he had denied a side of his personality that included bisexual impulses, he said.

"David is out of rehab and about to start a new movie," Stein told People. "He successfully completed his treatment."
