August 13-17, 2003 - YDA National Convention comes to Buffalo!

Buffalo has won the bid to host the Young Democrats of America 2003 National Convention from August 13-17, 2003. The convention is expected to bring in 1000 Young Dems from across the country and revenues are expected to be around $1,000,000 for the region!!! For more information on the convention, or to assist in the planning it, please sent an email to the OPYD.

The OPYD has encountered difficulties with meeting in Orchard Park High School due to administrative bureaucracy and a reluctance to foster political activism in the community. Meetings are currently on hiatus until this difficulty is resolved.
