Throughout this paper, we shall consider only the stable multiple
pulses localized within the time window, which is much shorter
than the cavity round-trip period. The period and repetition-rate
multiplications as well as automodulational regimes will not be
considered. We also assume that the laser mode is close to
TEM
. This allows us to use the one-dimensional propagation
model and the parabolic approximation for self-focusing.
