Well, another bottle show season is just about history here on the hill. We throughly enjoyed ourselves this summer, traveling to the shows throughout New York and New England. It gives us a chance to meet some new friends and renew friendships with some of our old bottle digging buddies that we only see once or twice a year now.
The weather for Norm Hecklers Columbus Day hayfield aution and The Keene Bottle Show didn't cooperate as well as could be expected but that didn't stop the crowds and a good time was had by all. The fall colors have been exceptional this year, probably had to do with the lack of rain we expierienced for most of the summer up here in New England. For now, we'll throw another log on the fire do our wheeling and dealing on EBay along with an ocassional Sunday trip down to Leone's College Mart Flea Market. As the outdoor venues close down for the season the action usually starts heating up here. I'll update my links page for next years events as soon as time allows. Meanwhile I'd like to wish all my bottle buddies a happy, healthy and safe holiday season.
