| RULES Usage Players may appear in 1/8 the number of games they appeared in during the actual NBA season, rounded up (e.g., a player who played in 73 games may play in 10 RRBL games), with the exception of Minneapolis players, who may appear in 1/7 their actual NBA games. The only limitation on minutes played is the required rest for each player. Injuries shall only last the duration of the current game. Visitors' instructions Instructions shall cover, at a minimum: 1. Starting lineup 2. Depth chart for each position 3. Go-to preference list 4. Any stall/press/hurry-up strategies Rest Home team shall use best judgment in resting opposing players and subbing for players in foul trouble. Rest for starters should be kept to minimum rest required unless otherwise instructed. Go-To Plays Home team shall use first available player from visitors' list for each go-to play. Fastbreak Fastbreak shall be used whenever called for in the first through third quarters. Visitors may include instructions to limit use of optional fastbreaks in fourth quarter. Team fastbreak ratings shall be computed based on the weighted average (based on games played) ratings of each of the 12 players on the team. The starting point guard shall be double weighted. The rating will be assigned based on the following scale: Stall/Press/Hurry-Up These options may be used by both teams. Rebounding/SAG/Advanced Rest (shaded column 4) These advanced options shall not be used. Home Court Advantage The home team shall be rated 2 and the visitors shall be rated 3 for each game. Free Throws Free throws shall be awarded according to the following chart: F1 F2 2F1 Backcourt Loose Ball Stats Stats shall be kept for FG/FGA, FT/FTA, REB, ASST, PF, and Points. Owners should send stats to their opponents after each game. Owners shall compile stats for their team (including road games) and submit them to the commissioner at the end of the season. Championship The two division winners shall meet in a best two-of-three championship series. The first and third games will be played at the arena of the team with the better record. In case of a tie for the division championship, a one-game playoff shall be played. In case of a tie for home court advantage, a dice roll shall decide. |
