Sadly, something had to go... Teenagers opens at an observatory. There are a few close-ups of the interior - We spot a man looking through a telescope and he calls out "Doctor Mason, Doctor Mason!"

We leave the two scientists and are shown a shot of the dog Sparky, barking at the sky. What does Sparky see?
Why it's a drill shaped thing... revolving! (And how much you wanna bet that they're bringing some creatures to swallow the Earth up whole?) Sparky barks while the ship lands, we get a closeup on the space craft and credits roll. This is where we join Joel and the bots.
