Christmas Poems
Letter to Santa
Dear Santa, how are you today,
This is what I want, could you send it right away!
All I really want, is a bat, glove, and ball,
Or a basketball and sneakers, and a goal that's really tall!
And how about a big truck, and a high flying plane,
A pistol and a gun belt, so I can try and rob a train!
Jax, checkers, and pinball, are games I love to play,
Coloring books and crayons, I could sit and do all day!
A cat, a dog, and a rabbit, are the perfect pets for me,
I'll love em', hug em', and squeeze em', throughout eternity!
What about a bicycle, can you fit it in your sled,
A BMX 10-speed, yellow, blue, and red!
Thank you Santa Claus, I think that's all need,
Bring me all this stuff, and 'very happy' I will be!
I'll leave you out a snack, some cookies and some milk,
They'll be there on the table, on a napkin made of silk!
Ho! Ho! Ho!
Ho! Ho! Ho! It's that time of year,
To buy lots of goodies, and pass out some cheer!
How happy they are, all the kids as they wait,
For good ol' St. Nick, and the toys that he makes!
It's a time to rejoice, and be thankful for friends,
And the birth of our lord, Jesus Christ, amen!
To each and every one, whom we consider so dear,
Have a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
Twas the Night
Twas the night before Christmas, and all you could hear,
was the sound of my wheelchair, shifting through gears!
From one end to the other, I laid out the toys,
for my nieces and nephews, little girls and little boys!
Candy canes and stockings, I pinned to the wall,
one for each kid, one for them all!
In just a few hours, it will be Christmas day,
along with the sounds, as the children all play!
There's no greater sight, than to see a big smile,
on the face of our children, as wide as a mile!

Here are a couple of poems I also wrote to help our kids fight the war against drugs and gangs!!!
Just Say No
It's to all of our children, I dedicate this poem,
the awareness to life's corruption, unto which you are born.
There are drugs, liquor, and don't forget the gangs,
inviting your soul, to a world that is insane.
Some try it once, maybe even twice,
but when face by temptation, it's just not wise.
So watch out for these bad guys, where ever you may go,
and always remember the right thing, is to 'Just Say No!'
Be Smart and Don't Start
Hey kids we're back at it again, and hoping you're still aware,
of the drugs, pushers, and other bad things, learned from our
program called D.A.R.E..
We're here to help teach you, all the right things to say,
where to go, what to do, what ever it takes to put the bad guys
away.
Please stay away from all drugs, like heroin, pot and cocaine,
because each and everyone of these drugs, will surely fry your
brain.
Just say no to drugs, yes to hugs, it's truly the right thing to
do,
because in the end, the one's that will win, are the smart one's
just like me and you!
