Sure, a lot of aspects of SW roleplaying is just, well, normal people. The only real requirments are that you are a good roleplayer, are commited and are willing to learn about the stuff you aren't sure of. If you do mess up, but for a reason, Laneira and Thylan are willing to help you out.
You don't have to be a human - in Star Wars there are truckloads of different types of two legged, intelligent species. You can rp one of them too, just make sure you've got the looks and such snuffed out.

To put it simple, the Seperatists have trained 10 highly skilled young warriors called Nexii (The group is called the Nexus). They are going to try and destroy all of the Jedi in lithe, stealthy assasin ways, picking them off one by one and finally taking them on at once.

It is forbidden IC for a Jedi to love or marry, but it will be allowed OOC as long as it is part of the site-wide plot. For example, a Sith could try and woe a Jedi into converting or setting up the Jedi. Make sure you speak to an admin about this kind of stuff first though.
