My vision here at Open Heart Church is to see: Families and people come together and worship God. To reach the unreachable in the city. To lead people to Christ and to live by the word of God. To fellowship and preach and teach the word to those who are new and seasoned in the Lord. To reach the newly saved and to teach them how to live according to the word of God bringing practical messages that apply to everyday life. To see this city changed by the power of God through worship prayer and preaching the word of God. To offer a church setting where people can feel loved and accepted. A place where they can grow and mature in their knowledge of Jesus Christ.

To teach the kids and youth how important it is to have a scriptural foundation in the word of God. To take them to activities where they can have fun fellowshipping and getting to know one another in a safe environment. To teach them what is important in life and how to treat their fellow man. To come together to learn and grow from one another and to guide them into all truth.

Pastor�s Wife/Worship Leader Deb�s Vision:

My vision here at Open Heart is in the area of worship and women�s ministries/prayer.

First with worship. Worship is such an important part of the church today. I believe it is very important to stay on the cutting edge of what God is saying through worship. Music is moving and changing and we must be willing to move with it.

My heart is to see a heartfelt humble team raised up here, younger and older worshipping God together and lifting up our voices and instruments with excellence and harmony unto the Lord. Offering an incense and sacrifice of praise and worship to our Lord and creator. I also have the desire to train up those in the body who desire to minister in the area of worship.

I have many years of worship mentoring experience: Church of Prayer, Celebration of Praise, Inver Hills church, Cannon Falls Assembly, Aglow meetings union gospel mission, State Fair and mini concerts. But I am now leading and directing worship on my own at our church.

I have been trained under excellent leadership in the Twin Cities and I thank God for that. Now I am going forth and helping lead and train others in the knowledge and wisdom He has given me to bless others with. My desire is to work with well-skilled people who have a desire to learn and grow their gifts. I have studied voice many years, and also want to teach others what I have learned and has been so valuable to me in making me a more competent musician.

Women�s Ministries/Prayer: My vision for women�s ministries is to see the body of Christ come together in love, fellowship and friendship for one another. That any walls of indifference would come down around the women in the church and that we would love each other with Gods love. So that when people come to visit they feel the love of God in us reaching out to them and their needs and no-one feels left out. Women need each other to talk, to laugh, to share and to cry. We also need to offer activities/ministry once a month to draw us closer to one another, and to our Savior.

Prayer/Intercession: I love to see women praying. There is such power in prayer. When women get together and share their hearts and burdens with one another powerful things happen. My heart is to see women come together and pray/intercede for each other, the church, the city and our Nation.

Currently I am also now beginning to work on a professional studio recording and writing songs. This has been a dream of mine for many years. My demo recording was accepted at a record company in Oregon and I am interviewing with them. I thank God for this tremendous opportunity as well. I do have a heart also to minister beyond the four walls of the church and this may be the opportunity for that. I am praying for Gods leading and guideance.
