My Name is Derek John Jordan and I am a Christian working and living in the world, just like the rest of everyone else (failings and all).
Above all else there is Jesus Christ because without Him I would be but salt to make a road or dust upon the earth, not meaning a thing. He has given my life meaning and proven to me 1000 times over that he is the Lord of my life. Prayer, Praise, and Love are on the top of my list.
I would guess you could call me a jack of many trades because I like to do alot of things. I like reading just about any book, writing whatever God gives me to write, drawing whatever is put into my head by God, and I love to talk about Jesus.
My advice on life is first of all be just like me, in that,as I follow Christ, follow me! Do what it says in the top right corner of my page, Read the Word; Test the Word; Live the Word. You can't know it if you don't read it - dont just follow blindly (Proverbs 32:9) That is the most important thing that you could do.

I was asked by God to leave Auburn University in Auburn and come to Montgomery. This opened the door for me to marry my wonderful wife Melanie and after a bit of time have our first child, Kyley Grace Jordan. Soon, and at the moment I mean very soon, as in close to date =>(03/04/08), we will be having our second child, Elijah Franklin Jordan.
