Special Moments
Satan really tried to attack us today. It seemed like everything was going wrong. I was so discouraged after the drama. Then we went to the local church. The people there opened right up to us and served us in every way.  The pastor of the church was blind so we began to pray over him. Nothing happened at first, but we knew the healing power of God was in him. From there, we prayed over so many people. Many of them were healed. We prayed together with the people of the church, us in English and them in Spanish. I was so moved by how God just broke down the language barrier that we had been worrying about and just poured down his spirit on us.  Then the pastor got out his guitar and began to play This Is The Day while they sang in Spanish and we sang in English. It was the coolest thing Ive ever done. Two completely different cultures were brought together by God. God brought my spirits up and made void what Satan had done that morning! -Emily

The day that we went o the grassy knoll my MIG and I worked with the kids. To start out we were all playing payro payro gato After a few minutes I realized I was all alone. The kids didnt really understand how to play, so I had to be the one who ran around the circle over and over again. I bet I ran around that circle like fifty times. When they called like two minutes left, I ran out into the crowd and all the kids came running after me. I tripped over some guys foot in the crowd and fell in the dirt. When I looked up all the little kids had their hands reached out toward me to help me up. It was so sweet. That moment made the whole day worth it. It didnt matter how snotty and dirty they were or how tired I was. It really made me happy to know that I brought the least bit of happiness to them by letting Jesus use me.
Another Kodak moment was this morning when Roberto (the guy with back and vision problems who God healed) showed up at the airport to say good-bye to us. He was so grateful. I really hope God blesses him so much. Roberto was an example of what its all about. I thank Go for sending us to him and especially him to us.  I know God was pleased through Roberto.
Another Kodak moment was when the guy (the one we prayed for about his relationship with his wife) kissed me on the forehead. Not because I got away with a rule, but, because, like Roberto, he was so thankful. The only thing was that I didnt know why. He kept telling me how much he loved me with the love of the Lord and stuff. I dont know what I did that touched him so. I am so grateful though that he was touched and that I guess God somehow allowed me to take part in that. He told me he would pray for me everyday and stuff and I said gracious and then he grabbed my face and kissed my forehead. The Holy Spirit and his love was so very strong that day.
And one more Kodak moment was when we all sang that song together in that church. Im not really sure about everybody else, but I had been so discouraged by the whole language barrier deal and it was so amazing and uplifting when we all got together and sang that song. We may not have been singing in the same language, but we were all singing the same song at the same time together to the same person for basically the same reasons. Love is a universal language. Gods love knows no barriers. We should all praise him for that. That is so much of what this whole trip is about. -Hope

I had many Kodak moments but only a few meant a lot to me. The first one was at the University when we went and talked to Suzanne. She told us she was already a Christian but she wanted to recommit her life so we prayed for her. She wrote us a letter and told us she was really blessed. Another moment was when I gave a little girl a
bottle of bubbles and she gave me her only clip. I got so much out of this trip; Ive grown a lot closer to God and built my relationship with him stronger. Maybe the year after next Ill go on a month one! Leah
