Zeka is definately my mother's minpin. During labor, my mom climbed in the birthing area with Zeka to keep the first time mother calm. As the time neared to have the puppies, mom tried to put Zeka in her birthing box but Zeka clung to her.

Our family is so proud of Zeka because she has been a wonderful mother. As the puppies approach a week old, all of us are still reluctant to put our hands in her "crib" unless we present an offering of food or milk. Zeus has been sad because his play partner is no longer interested in playing but I promise him that in a few months he will benefit from his loss.

It's amazing how different Zeka and Zeus's personalities are. While both dogs are bad about begging, Zeka is more of a theif. If you turn your eyes away from your food for more than a few seconds, you might find your plate is missing some of the tastiest morsals. Also, Zeka is a little more reserved than Zeus but she still is extremely loving to those who she knows.

When the stork brought Zeus home, Zeka was far from welcoming the 3 month old little puppy. For two months she would not even acknowledge that Zeus existed. Somebody invaded her castle and she wasn't happy. Of course, now she loves him and enjoys a good chase on a regular basis.
