Wambrook

The parish of Wambrook is located  1 3/4 miles south west of Chard.
It was formerly a chapelry of  Chardstock in the Beaminster Forum & Rebourne Hundred in Dorset.
After 1834 Wambrook was part of the Chard Poor Law Union.
In 1896 it was transferred from Dorset to Somerset and the Parish Registers
are now held at the Somerset  Record Office.  They are severely damaged between 1717-1763.
