Well, we took the plunge.... We committed to getting another peke. After much searching on the net......checking out rescues and shelters, I stumbled onto a wonderful site. I had really wanted to get a rescued peke, but found it very difficult to get a response. I did getsome responses, but the dog I'd be intrested in was pending adoption. Soooo....... I finally decided to give up and surf the breeders again. I really don't remember how I got there.....but I was very impressed with what I read and saw. I could see these babies were pampered. Well, I took a chance and emailed them, thinking they probably did not have a puppy available. Guess what.........I was wrong! They had a little silver male born on January 28th! Yes sir....that's MY baby! They responded pretty quickly, we gave each other a little info and insight about ourselves...and we have a puppy! Gosh! Do you have any idea how hard it is to be a new mommy long distance? But, we have to wait until he is ready to come to his new family. As you can see, he is such a little cutie. Now Abbott has a Costello, and we are doubling our fun! They even emailed a picture so we could see our new baby. This is the first picture we received.....
Please check out their site, it is well worth it.

Finally....after much anticipation......HE'S HOME!
I gotta tell you.......Costello has been an absolute clown. We thought he would be this quiet, timid little thing on the way home. SURPRISE!!!! He took a few minutes to investigate, and made himself at home. I was a little concerned a day or two, because I felt he wasn't eating well. That changed pretty quick. Now he eats ALL the time. He is also very
playful and fiesty....this little ball of fuzz is a stick of dynamite in disguise! You should hear his little munchkin bark! He is growing like a weed....and loves his Abbott. It's best if you pick up your feet and stay out of the way when the chase is on! He likes to bite toes, too.....and anything else that looks intresting and will make you yelp.

Watching Costello grow and play has been an adventure.....He and Abbott have races throughout house and it can get pretty hairy. Best thing to do is pick up your feet and let them go...It's safer that way! This is how we look trying to get out of the way....

Cosie loves this ball! He grabs the loop and shakes it, and usually ends up getting rolled by it. This ball has caused no end of laughter at our house.

Froggy has too many limbs to chew on. Costello loves to shake the frog, and make it go "boing boing"!

Opps! You missed it! Costello jus ran into Abbott's head and fell over backwards. He's fine, Abbott is checking to make sure.

Now who is that peeping under the door?
