Spinach Dip

1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 box frozen spinach (thawed and drained)
3/4 package Knorr's Leek mix or Lipton's Golden Onion or Onion mix

Mix ingredients well together and chill before serving on french bread slices.

you'll never bring home leftovers with this to any potluck party
Hot Spinach Dip

1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup Vidalia or Maui onion (any sweet onion)
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
sour dough bread, hollowed out and break insides into bite size pieces

mix together and bake at 350-degrees for 30 minutes, or cook in a pot over a burner.  Then pour into bread bowl.  Place bowl in the middle of a platter and line bread pieces around it.

the best part of this is when you eat the bowl with the dip all soaked in.
Nori Chicken

1/4 c. mochiko
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. chopped green onion
5 T. shoyu
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
5# chicken thigh (deboned and cut into about 1-1/2"x3" pieces)
nori strips

mix top 8 ingredients together and soak chicken pieces over-night.  shake excess marinade off chicken piece, wrap a nori strip arounf entire chicken and deep fry.  when cooked through, it's ready to eat!

California Sushi

3 c. rice, cooked with 1 T. sake in with water in rice cooker)

1/2 c. rice vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
In pot, cook together til melted.  cool and pour over hot rice and mix.

slice into sticks:  avocados, cucumbers, imitation crab sticks

Sauce: combine until blended:
1 c. mayonnaise
4 tsp. honey
1/2 tsp. sesame seed oil

layer rice onto Temaki Sushi Nori Sheets.  Spoon sauce across before adding a vocado, cucumber and crab slices.  Roll up and enjoy.
