Beef Stew
2 1/2# stew or chuck meat, cubed
flour
1 can beef broth
1 can water (use beef broth can)
1 can whole tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
carrots, potatoes, onions, celery, etc. chopped
watercress

Season and flour meat, brown on all sides.  In a large pot, add borth and water and simmer meat for 2 or more hours stirring occassionalyly.  Cool in refrigerator overnight.  Scrape off fat.

Return to stove, add tomatoes, sauce and boil 15 minutes.  Add vegetables and salt and pepper to state.  Cook 1 or more hours.  Thicken with flour and water if needed.

If you can stand it, return stew to refigerator and reheat and enjoy the next day.  Vegetables and meat will soak up the flavor with this extra day.

1# ground beef
1 can Campbells Vegetable Soup
salt and pepper
water, optional
1 can corn, optional

fry beef, drain oil.  Add soup, salt and pepper and corn.  If too dry, add water.  Simmer a bit and eat!

A real simple stew.  Easy but yummy!

Spaghetti Sauce

1# hamburger
onions, minced
2 tsp. oregano
1 bay leaf
garlic powder
salt and pepper
1 T. sugar
1 can stewed tomatoes
2 cans tomato sauce

Mix and heat in a pot.   Pour over cooked noodles.  Enjoy with garlic bread.
