Baked Shoyu Chicken

sauce
mix together and set aside:
1 can chicken broth
1/4 cup shoyu (soy sauce)
1/4 cup mirin
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, crushed

1 5# box of chicken thighs, salt and peppered, floured and fried in hot oil til brown.   Line chicken in a 9x13 pan.  Pour sauce over and bake 350-degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Easy Shoyu Chicken

1 cup soy sauce
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
chicken drummettes

mix all together and boil in pot until cooked through!

REAL REAL EASY.  while it's cooking, i steam the rice, and fix corn for a side dish.  chicken is tender and flavored all the way through.
Korean Chicken

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. mirin
1 glove garlic
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 cup green onion
chicken drummettes, dredged in flour and deep-fried

mix together first 6 ingredients and set aside in heat-proof bowl.  As soon as chicken is  cooked through, shake excess oil off and soak hot chicken in marinade.  Take out after it has soaked awhile. Then it's ready to eat!

Easy Pot Roast

4# chuck roast
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Sprinkle onion soup over roast, rub in.  Spread mushroom soup over, cover with foil.  Bake 300-degrees for 4 hours.

the only hard part about this is waiting for it to cook through and it smells sooo good!
